And, I’m not going to stop here… I want to share a challenge too – it is something I am also working on for my Self… Let’s talk about resistance!
…You know that nagging feeling you get when you’re *pushing* and *tugging* for something or you come in contact with something/someone and this resistance inside of you just shows up?…
I’ve come to believe and reflect that this is mainly coming from 3 places within us…
Fear of the unknown resistance
This is when you are going out of your comfort zone and experiencing things that feel so new… it is natural to feel uncomfortable sometimes… and then the resistance kicks in and it is tempting you to revert back to the place of comfort that you are used to. This is a loving resistance that reminds us that it is healthy to GO FOR what we want and we are growing out of our own energy shell, expanding! The Universe is giving us a gentle reminder.
We know best resistance
Then there is a resistance that happens naturally that comes from our instinct… it’s telling us that something/someone is not aligned with our own energy and might be “wrong” for us right now. This can also stem from the energy vampires post I did earlier… Classic signs: You feel drained, negative or unbalanced after you connect with this place/person/situation/etc. Your instinct is putting resistance there for you to realise that this is not right for you or it is affecting your own energy levels. Or this is a resistance you picked up from other people’s fears and energy.
Let go and flow resistance
Sometimes we want something SO bad that we push and push to make it happen. Don’t get me wrong, making an effort in most things is a good thing but by law of attraction, there is a fine point where pushing for something can also mean interrupting the natural flow and actually resulting in the opposite effect… pushing it *away* instead. A balancing act of giving the energy out (action) and trusting that if it is right for you, it will respond to your energy (reaction).
It’s sometimes very tricky to figure out which form of resistance we are feeling – time for reflection work 🙂

We live in a dynamic time where our own priorities and choices may have changed a lot… Is this resistance healthy or stopping you from making a choice right now?
Some tips: Go out in nature, grounding work, return to taking time out for Self (meditating, yoga etc), ask and put the energy out there (but trust that you will get your answer)… maybe just breathe deeply and give the thing that you are resisting some space and see how you feel… you might be surprised 🙂
