Kundalini Yoga Inspiration: Sadhana ~ By Yogi Bhajan

I’ve been enjoying my Kundalini yoga course, dedicating my Self to the training and reading plenty of material. There are beautiful lectures online too – here is one I am enjoying today 🙂 This topic is an important one…

Sadhana means daily spiritual practice. It is the foundation of all spiritual endeavor. Sadhana is your personal, individual spiritual effort. Quotes On Sadhana

Yogi Bhajan, the Master of Kundalini Yoga, gave many lectures on the importance of Sadhana. Here are some of the things he said.

“Sadhana gives fearlessness and a sense of self, as well as projection, polarity combination, equilibrium, respectability, totality, internal and external self-knowledge, purity, dignity, divinity, and grace… You become a shining, living grace.”

“All these changes that you are seeing in your personality did nothappen because you got counseled, or your teacher was great. You all changed because you wanted to change and you did sadhana. Sadhana changed you…The ultimate approach is when you want to change, and you do sadhana. Then you shall change.”

“The greatest reward of doing sadhana is that the person becomes incapable of being defeated. Sadhana is a self-victory and it is avictory over time and space. Getting up is a victory over time, anddoing it is a victory over space.”

“Always do some sadhana no matter how short, because every effort of the individual mind to meet the Universal Self is reciprocated a thousand-fold.”
