I officially packed up my Summer clothes and sandals over the weekend as the weather turned into Autumn… it was a good reminder that now is the time to slowly transition into the Moon months (colder seasons of Autumn/Winter).
Just as I get really excited when Spring comes around, I also get happy when Autumn does too – these are 2 strongest transition points during the year for our energy. I will go into full details in my upcoming post in my blog soon for Autumn Equinox 2013 (Sept 22nd). I will include some quick tips below now to help with this transition too 🙂

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying this: What an *intense* year it has been, full of highs/lows and I feel as though many of us have been almost pushed to release and expand in ways that we may have never experienced before – both in our personal and work life!

3 Tips To Transition Into Autumn & The Moon Months
Start new indoor routines – and healthy Self rituals
As the days get colder and darker, it’s a good time to re-channel your energy from outdoor activities and into indoor activities. This is a great opportunity to get in touch and expand your sacred Self time (like daily meditation, regular yoga/gym sessions, creative activities etc). As autumn will help us get back into our inner world, we will be getting back in touch with our emotional/creative and grounding lower chakras. Get physical (grounding through physical activities), get creative, develop a good Self time routine (at home or in a gym/yoga studio) and clear out your home for new energy of the season!
Deeper intense colours!
Nature will change its colours – from lighter pastels to deeper intense colours. Use this around you too – at home, your clothing, in your meditations etc. The lower chakra colours you can include are red, orange and yellow – colours of Autumn! This will help you tune into the season with the healing power of colour – read our blog post for more info!
Eat with the seasons
Autumn is harvest time! Eating with the seasons helps you to stay in tune with nature – so include ingredients in your cooking/food that are naturally found in your area during each season.
The easy way to explore this further is to visit your local farmer’s markets (London list) which will have everything you need to get some yummy seasonal food into your kitchen 🙂
